Arimoclomol citrate is a potent oral small-molecule heat shock protein (HSP) inducer, with the functions of activating the heat shock response and enhancing cellular stress tolerance. Arimoclomol citrate can be used in the research of neurodegenerative diseases (such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Huntington's disease), rare lipid metabolism diseases (such as Niemann-Pick disease type C) and cell stress-related diseases.
